Haha that's an excellent side note. A comedian once said that social media has been described as the coming together of different culture, races, and religion to make fun of different cultures, races, and religions.
I loved reading this! I enjoyed what you said about “Tenure kills punk rock” - I thought that was so poignant and representative of the 21st century.
I like how you remarked that Blake’s work incorporates both Light & Dark - seeking wholeness and reconciliation. So many magicians have also sought the same method!
After reading this, I looked through all of Blake's paintings and thought it must've been difficult to decide which to include in this piece. Beautiful work as always, Erick.
I have long been a lover of William Blake – and the only church I have ever been attracted to is the new church of Swedenborg – someone whose life I resonate with x
I think it’s regrettable that WB lived before the time of digital technology. His approach to graphic art would have fitted well with the “think different” admonitions of Steve Jobs.
A prophet is rarely well received in his own time and place. Blake was too far out for his but a lot of us now get him.

"Come together, right now..."
I really enjoyed this, Erick, thanks!
Thanks a lot Don. I think that there is plenty to learn from Blake's life both spiritually and artistic so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

It's super cool to read your comments and see the connections you make between magic. Really appreciate it!
And we are totally on the same page about the 21st, ha.

Thank you very kindly. I went with the three I could remember without looking them up, ha.
Hope you enjoyed looking through his work!
Two different colours on the mapp
